Sam Wanamaker Playhouse's 10th anniversary art direction directly jumps into the atmospheric architecture of the playhouse, inviting guests to immerse themselves in its narrative.
It plays with the nature of the theatre itself, exclusively candlelit.
This winter season embraced shadows, as well as glimps of lights, weaving tales of domestic drama and tragedy within its walls. The playhouse emerges as a symbol of psychological realism, exploring themes of claustrophobia and toxic family dynamics, echoing the turmoil of the world.
The theater proudly champions freedom of expression, sparking debate and offering catharsis. Directors of each plays got photographed within the space expanding the narrative of the plays direction to the stories of each story teller of the season.

︎︎︎Winter Typography combines a 60% transparent layer using Amifer and a 100% warm white ︎ Amifer Folio. The typographic elements were crafted to mirror the intricate interplay of this theatre’s iconic lights.
